The Council of social movement "Adyghe Khasa - Circassian Parliament" of Adygeya Republic in its extraordinary meeting on January 22, 2012 had considered the question of holding a congress of Circassian people of Adygeya Republic with the following agenda: to hold a congress of the Circassian people of Adygeya Republic. The date of the congress was scheduled for February 11, isnce 11:00 am in Maykop town. Thus, the Council of social movement "Adyghe Khasa - Circassian Parliament" of Adygeya Republic sent a proposal to "Adyghe Khasa" of Kabardino-Balkarian Republic to hold a congress of Circassians of KBR with the agenda: the position of the Circassian Diaspora in Syria and the measures to be taken in connection with the aggravated situation in Syrian Arab Republic.
